Krak (crack)
Like the majority of Nakut'yun Krak has a harsh environment. From the lava produced by the volcano Asir to the beasts that can be found lurking in the corners. While this country has difficult living conditions people live here for the job opportunities as well as it is the "safest" place due to its standing with Jorn. The beings that live here are more suited for the constant heat and humidity that comes from being so close to the volcano.
Geography
Krak is home to the volcano Asir and a few baby volcanos near it. Asir is constantly producing a slow stream of lava and very rarely erupts, not saying that it never happens. Asir is also referred to as Mt. Asir. The majority of the country has rich soils from volcanoes.
Localized Phenomena
The veil between planes is particularly thin around these areas, this leads to many fey people and others from other realms living here.
Natural Resources
The items that Krak is most known for are the weapons that they create as well as their ability to harness the energy from Mt Asir through arcane methods, thanks to the people of Zhaminox.
Trade
Krak trades with both Jorn and Khan bridging the gap. This trade allows Khan to continue to live and continues the relationship between the two countries.History
Krak was always a warm and hostile environment the further you went from civilization. When the water ran through Krak was widely known for its agriculture. With the soils rich from the volcanoes and the humidity in this area they were able to grow a large variety of crops. As the water disappeared the people of Krak turned to their focus on their secondary trade items, obsidian and weapon forging.
During the war, Krak fought alongside their neighbors in hopes of allowing free and equal access to water. After the eventual loss of the revolution, Jorn struck up a deal with them. Since Krak was advanced in weaponry and Jorn had now seen that it must be able to defend itself, the deal was that Jorn will allow trade with Krak if they only sold their weapons to Jorn, If Krak were to refuse Jorn would start a war against them in their weakened state and end Krak as they know it. Since the revolution took a lot out of Krak, both resources and people, they agreed. Now they are in a strained relationship with Jorn and until they have a more stable society they must stay on Jorn's good side.
Tourism
People visit Krak for a few reasons. One of the main ones is the "safety" that they have. With Krak being in the best standing with Jorn and Jorn needing Krak's resources there is a guarantee that Jorn will not leave Krak to die as they have for Khan and Ekar. Another is in hopes of work. People with innate arcane abilities travel here in hopes of working in the energy harvesting business and obtaining a better lifestyle. Since Krak is home to a large trading post between all countries many people live here for better access to life-sustaining resources.
