Root Brambletusk

Age Loxodons mature at the same rate as humans but live much longer. They can live to be over 450 years old.   Height Loxodons are considerably larger than humans. They typically stand between 7 and 8 feet tall. Their robust and massive bodies also make them quite heavy, with weights often exceeding 300 pounds.

Root Brambletusk, a Loxodon of impressive stature and gentle disposition, grew up in the tranquil village of Greenfield. Nestled amidst sprawling fields of golden wheat and lush pastures, Greenfield was a place where life thrived in harmony with nature.   The Brambletusk family farm, a cornerstone of the community, was renowned for its bountiful harvests and sustainable practices. Root's father, Thariv Brambletusk, was a respected figure in the village, known for his wisdom and deep connection to the land. Root was the heir apparent to this verdant legacy, destined to carry forward the family's farming traditions.   From a young age, Root showed an extraordinary affinity for the land. He had an innate talent for nurturing crops and understanding the subtle rhythms of nature. His younger brother, Leaf, looked up to him with wide-eyed admiration, eager to follow in his footsteps. The bond between the brothers was strong, their shared experiences on the farm forging a deep connection.   One of Root's closest friends during his childhood was a white tiger tabaxi named Ashen Prowl. Ashen's fur was as white as freshly fallen snow, with striking black stripes that made him stand out. The two shared countless adventures, exploring the fields and forests around Greenfield, their laughter echoing through the hills. Root admired Ashen's agility and curiosity, while Ashen was fascinated by Root's strength and gentle nature.   However, beneath the idyllic surface of Greenfield lay a darker secret. Ashen's father, a mysterious figure named Kuro, was a poacher, notorious for hunting powerful and magical beasts. Kuro's activities were a well-kept secret, known only to a few within the village. Ashen, innocent and unaware, believed his father to be a simple hunter providing for their family.   One fateful day, the truth came to light. Kuro's poaching was exposed, leading to a dramatic confrontation with the villagers. In the ensuing turmoil, Ashen was taken away by his father, who sought to indoctrinate him into the grim trade of poaching. The separation was sudden and heart-wrenching for Root. He watched helplessly as his best friend was torn from his life, the once vibrant light in Ashen's eyes dimmed by the harsh reality of his father's world.   The loss of Ashen marked a turning point in Root's life. Determined to honor the values instilled in him by his father and to protect the land from those who would exploit it, Root dedicated himself even more fervently to the farm and his studies of nature. He learned the arts of cultivation, animal husbandry, and natural magic, becoming a guardian of the land. Root's bond with his brother Leaf grew stronger, the two working side by side to maintain their family’s legacy.   Yet, Root never forgot Ashen. The memory of his friend and the injustice he suffered fueled a quiet resolve within him. Root vowed that one day, he would find Ashen and free him from the shadows of his father's influence. Until then, Root would protect his home, his family, and the natural world with unwavering determination, embodying the strength and wisdom of the Brambletusk lineage.   Root Brambletusk stands tall, a stalwart defender of the land, ready to face whatever challenges come his way.
