Formation of the Ainari Tribe
Summary
During the high summer of 2700 FB, the Turtle, Turkey, and Wolf clans of the Ainari convened at an as-yet-undetermined clearing believed to lie between the river plains and the forested highlands. The event was unprecedented in scale; every campfire, dancer, and drum testified to the clans’ shared prosperity.
Description
Over the course of a full week, the tribes celebrated through ceremonial dancing, great feasts, and inter-clan trade. At the heart of the gathering, the three chiefs met within a grand council lodge, a teepee large enough to seat their entourages and the spiritual leaders of each clan.
After days of deliberation, the chiefs agreed to form a joint council, thereafter meeting every five years to settle disputes and guide cooperation between the clans.
They also:
- Established formal trade relations for shared goods and livestock.
- Defined hunting territories and migration routes to prevent conflict.
- Declared a mutual defense pact where if one clan were attacked, the others would respond in its defense.
These accords marked the official formation of the Ainari Tribal Lands , transforming a collection of kin-clans into a recognized confederation. When the final bonfires burned low, each clan returned to its homeland under new banners signifying unity.
