Nâdîntu's Noose
What Is It?
These unusual pendants serve as unique religious artifacts for the Cult o' Nînturicu Aeopri, a secluded group devoted to Nâdîntu, Goddess of Darkness & Control. It is believed that wearing them establishes a connection to the Obsidian Empress by enhancing the individual's self-discipline.
Members of the cult often engage in rituals and prayers that involve the pendants, seeking guidance and empowerment from Nâdîntu in their daily lives. The dark, intricate designs of the pendants symbolize their commitment to the tenets of secrecy and mastery over one's own desires.
Physical Appearance
It was absurdly small and smooth—like a pebble—surrounded by a silver ring with jagged edges. The attached chain was razor sharp; even a light touch caused bleeding. How can anyone wear this for long? The material was also strange: the pebble seemed to almost glow in the dark. And it seemed to hum, almost calling to me.
The chains around the pendants symbolize empowerment and restraint, reflecting the dual nature of their worship. The gem making up the "noose's" body is said to carry a fragment of Nâdîntu's essence, causing it to hum and speak to the user. Nâdîntu's Nooses are not only objects of devotion but also tools for personal transformation.

Why, just why would people wear that? How many die due to wearing that necklace? Because it sounds as it could easily kill a person. But the idea itself is cool and so is your drawing.
Thanks for the compliments! :D People in the cult wear them because they're THAT dedicated to their faith. I imagine that quite a few people came close to dying until their king mercifully released them.
