Wildform
The ability of those under the influence of Wild Magic to take the form of wild beasts. The choice of animal is not up to the user, but is instead guided by their temperament and natural proclivities. For example, a person with a fiery personality might take the form of a dragon, while someone who is sly and crafty might take the form of a fox.
Causes
Caused by association and devotion to the precepts of the wild. Someone who follows their wild nature without care or restraint is likely to find themselves transforming. Usually happens for the first time under stress.
Symptoms
When in Wildform, the affected party will take the form of a wild creature in all respects. Fur, teeth, claws, and any of that animal's natural abilities will become theirs. They will remain roughly the same size as they normally are (no shrinking into mice, or growing into giant dragons), meaning some animals will seem too large or too small, making this one way to identify someone in wildform. Another way to identify them is by their glowing eyes, typically red, though legend tells of other colors.
When in Wildform, the affected party may experience slight changes in mental state. They may become more wild, less restrained, or more animal-like in their behavior.
Prognosis
Once a person has transformed into Wildform, it is unlikely that they will ever lose the ability. Though legends tell of a select few who gave up their wild ways and returned to civilization, no one has ever done so in recorded history. Through practice, however, the affected person can learn to control their ability, only transforming when they want to.
Affected Groups
The Frenzied Folk.
Cultural Reception
This ability has been met with fear and ostracism by society for its association with the Frenzied Folk.
