Purple Camel, Imperial Navy Supply Freighter, HMF-008

A heavy duty airship, that is used to move supplies between military bases, forward units, and other logistical destinations. The unit is assigned to conduct what the Army forces commonly calls JLOTs, or joint logistics over the shore, this is replenishment of goods over a coast, but in this case its over the airways.

The airship is made from frame of light-gauge metal, meant to save on the dead weight of the ship, and the wooden parts of the ship are made from a mixture of some parts being made of soarwood, and others darkwood. All of these materials lend strength to the ship, while dramatically cutting down on the weight, this was done so that the ship may carry as much cargo as safety possible possible, it also has a wooden hull that can land on the water as well, and dock at a harbor or pier.

Among its features is a two crane's mounted on the deck that can hoist containers on and off the ship. It also has quarters for the captain, and the officers. The rest of the crew is house in crew areas with bunk-beds. The crew has few weapons and ammunition in case of a random pirate attack or other hostile boarder, but as it is not a ship of war it has no heavy weapons on the decks to protect itself, it must be protected by other ships of the fleet. Typically one of the cruisers of the Imperial Fleet is given the role of escorting a ship of her class. A cruiser in the Imperial Navy is a ship that is capable of independent action, unlike a destroyer which needs other ships to perform roles within a naval task force. Small patrol ships, are typically in-effective at performing escort duties, since they are unable to sustain themselves like a cruiser can, and they cannot bring about he level of firepower that a cruiser can if the situation turns from escort to active combat.
