Belbury Chapel is the principal church of the Faith Of Scael. Built in 3768 BA by the Chief Arhcitect of the then city-state Oshngroth, Rurias Melemon. The chapel consists of a sprawling network of gardens surrounding the chapel proper. A path comprised of white marble quarried all the way in the Forgescale Mountains, inlaid in gold and fire opal, leads the way into the main church. Once inside, sunlight streams in from 25 ft. tall windows on either side. Shaped like a cross, the pews stretch all the way to the end of the church on three sides. at the top of the cross sits the Organ of Ornocon. There is also a stained glass dome that sits over the altar and central dais.    Atmosphere   The atmosphere inside the chapel is a peaceful one, albeit slightly chilly. When mass is not being attended, monks can be seen cleaning, gathering offerings, weeding and trimming the palatial garden, and other such things.   The Gardens   The sprawling, luxurious garden that sits around the chapel proper is open to the public as a place of refuge and meditation, and its not uncommon to see one or more monks sitting in the garden contemplating anything that crosses their minds.
The Organ of Oronocon   Inside Belbury Chapel sits a massive 6-tier organ. Each tier has 32 keys, and when pressed, each key corresponds to a pipe inside a pillar within the city. The pillars range from 5 ft. tall pipes to the massive 25 ft. tall pillars that stand by the front gate of Oshngroth. These are considered one of the top attractions in the city. The pillars are pure white marble, wrapped in alternating bands of gold and onyx. When played, the sound of the organ is so loud, and reverberates off the surrounding fjords and glaciers so much, that on clear nights, the sound can be heard all the way in the capitol. Built in 3754 BA by Rudimerius Oronoconson, the organ keyboard is so massive that it requires two people to play it properly.
Belbury Dome   Belbury Dome is considered a wonder of the world, and, when the sun directly reflects off the galciers and into the dome, the altar and the dias it stands on become bathed in multicoloured light. The dome depicts 6 different events. The first is the first High Cleric Scael fighting in the First War. The second, shows the founding of the city of Oshngroth, The third image shows the installment of the Organ Ornocon, with the fourth depicting the three artifacts of Scael: His mace, his staff, and his sword. The fifth shows the battle with Asdaelger the Ancient and the destruction of the Chromaticon in the Shardstone Forest. The sixth shows Aegial and the rift that opened in the sky above Scaelridge.

The Altar of Axclumon   This altar is considered the focal point of the faith. Crafted from glacier ice and inlaid with adamant at the corners, the plates are enchanted to keep the ice from melting. Atop the altar sits a golden candelabra with three candles, one symbolizing purity, another symbolzing modesty, and the third symbolizing devotion. A empty pedastal sits atop the altar beside the candelabra. In times past, the Chromaticon sat atop the pedastal, but since the supposed destruction of the Chromatican in 5755 BA, and since authetic copies of the Chromaticon are quite rare, the pedastal remains empty, and instead, the teachings of Scael are inscribed on the altar.
House Rachesis   House Rachesis is the ruling family of Oshngroth, as well as being one of six major Houses in the Aegial Empire. Known for their extreme, some might even say fanatical, worship of the Faith of Scael, they have a deep and abiding hatred of House Coastbound, as it was House Coastbound that led the assault when the Aegial empire took over Oshngroth. Since then, both Houses, while they haven't declared open war on each other, do engage in tactical manuevers, posturing, and threats that closely resembles the art of kanly, or vendetta, from Dune.
