Foxhollow Ranch

Now I would be remiss if I did not warn you about this ranch you now find yourself. This ranch is rather strange. We have seen strange lights in the sky, which seem to always take control of my body; we have seen strange creatures which seem to disappear as though they were never there. And the Bitaur too, they seem to react to whatever it is that is going on here. We have even found a Bitaur, killed and mutilated, the carcass of which we left in the barn only for not a single insect or predator to even touch it. Be careful about this ranch. There's something strange about it.

There is something strange about this place we call our home. . . or is it our second home now? I still live here, but some of our party have since moved to Almahna Academy and the Campus District.

But there is something here that affects people in strange ways. For instance, there was an incident with Eira some time ago where it seemed like something was taking over her mind and causing her to act violently toward people. This hasn't happened since but it still troubles her.

There was also an incident where Dr. Larina Grey's work with eldritch runes summoned a manifestation of Haidorah, a massive kaiju class Mystimon of alien origin which apparently Bifrost had sealed away inside a small black pyramid device, which he buried somewhere on the ranch. We have yet to be able to find it.

The ranch also appears to sit on top of a cross roads of Flow lines (think like ley lines), so if the influence of Haidorah is seeping out of its prison, this could turn into a really bad situation. We really need to find where Bifrost buried it. . .

To be fair, I don't blame Bifrost for the situation. I'm sure he thought he was doing what was best, and he couldn't have known this creature was this powerful that its influence could spread beyond its confines.
