The Openers have the best resources and geographic locations, alongside the best battle bases and fortresses. However they have a smaller army, due to them encouraging Tamers to join their cause, not forcing them too. They also have two Magical Divisions to support them, these being Shadow and Storm Magic, being the smaller side of the fight since Shifting Tamers are on neutral land.
Casualties
Most members of the Opener side have been healed since the last battle, two years after the beginning of the war, on which they took Rift City. And while the fights have been, as their name implies, skirmishes. Their bigger number of deaths lately are due to the Soul Snarer.
Objectives
Openers are the liberal side of the battle, they believe The Rift should be opened in order to restore the magic flow and save Tamers and their Familiars. However their objective right now is trying to find the Speaker of Selene, a.k.a Lady Mahina Galax, saying that she will support their cause, that way Shifting Tamers will side with them and having three members of the Council of Whispers on each side, then the Lead Speaker (Lord Klaus Fisher) will have the preferential vote and Openers will win the battle.

The continent where all the Tamers live and that was created after the Fallen Witches closed the Rift to protect their descendants. This place is full of magic and has diverse ecosystems, that have their particular fauna and flora and are affected by the magic of the creatures that live there. There are six original cities where the original groups settled, but thanks to the globalization and migration in the last years, many more cities and towns have built, including the capital "Rift City" that is just outside of the lake that surrounds the Rift Court where the Council of Whispers reunites.
