Muddlitch

Perhaps the most prominent reason to avoid corrupted or cursed zones, the Muddlitch makes quick work of any trespassers that find their way into its territory.

Basic Information

Anatomy

In its most simple form, the Muddlitch looks like the remains of a giant snake inhabited by an enormous eyeball in the place of its brain. From the eye, the long stem-like part makes its way down the length of the snake spine and is most likely what enables this creature to mauve. Truly grotesque.

Ecology and Habitats

The Muddlitch has only ever been encountered in corrupted zones most notably the Dreadmud swamp of North Middterh. Hiding and navigating the muddy fields with ease is the reason it was given the name Muddlitch.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Staring directly into the enormous iris apparently causes the onlooker to suffer some sort of shock. Once its prey is paralyzed, the Muddlitch will either snap its jaws at its victim or constrict them allowing for the sharpened bone fragments to slice through the poor soul as it makes its away all around their body.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
The snake skeleton is a mix of ivory white and the brown mud the Muddlitch collects while roaming around the swamps. Meanwhile, its eye is a somber red with a pitch black pupil like that of an abyss. Finally, the stem inhabiting the snake spine is a similar red to the eye but seems darker once again thanks to the brown mud.
