Mukala

This language is the tongue of the ancient Mukala. During the height of the Mukala Dominion, it was considered the "noble" tongue (whereas Sands Trade had been instituted as the common one). Its decedent language is still spoken in some parts of the Crimson Sands.

While Imperial Common, the current language used across the Empire, is considered to be in the Plains family, it has a strong Mukala influence due to the Dominion's long period of control over the Riverlands, the region from which Imperial Common arose.
