The Ruins
Purpose / Function
The original purpose of the building was unknown, but during the Stenza conquest of the planet that would become known as Desolation, it was repurposed for research and development of weapons. Scientists were put to work and as leverage, their conquerors took their families as hostages. They developed prototype Infantry Drones and remnants, among other devices, and the former two still lurk on the planet to this day.
The building was also one of the places where the captured natives plotted to destroy their work, making Desolation as much of a nuisance for the Stenza as physically possible, until the planet itself was completely stripped of life and abandoned, save only as a location for particular challenges, such as Ta'zhen's citizenship trial and a location in the Rally of the Twelve Galaxies.
