Societies and Peoples

Glaos is packed to the gills with sprawl kids, corpo expats, synth-lifers, and way too many people who list “illegal firmware” as a personality trait. Street gangs share alleys with augmented pilgrims and code witches, while whole districts rebuild their identity every time a new trend or update drops. Culture here is a remix of a remix, stitched together from old world nostalgia, brand cults, gang tags, and the soft glow of a thousand cheap holoscreens.
 

Factions and tensions

Every block of Glaos belongs to someone, or at least they claim it does. Corporate enclaves fight quiet data wars over who gets to own your thoughts, while mod gangs battle for turf in the maintenance veins under the city. Hacktivist cells, merc crews, and cults devoted to rogue AIs all pull at different cables in the same dying machine. On Glaos, conflict is just infrastructure, and the walker keeps moving no matter who is bleeding on the deck.
