  1. The Panic & The Pursuit
    • The city dropped ten feet, causing the crowd to near riot conditions.
    • The party fled through the chaos towards the food court to intercept the thief.
    • The Chase: A high speed pursuit through the alleyways.
    • Arlo cast Gust of Wind to slow the target.
    • Katya attempted Mind Sliver but failed to connect.
    • Arlo ended the chase by casting Misty Step directly onto the thief, apprehending him instantly.

  2. The Interrogation
    • The thief is identified as Finnegan, a Half Elf who claims to be an aspiring doctor but was arrested on terrorism charges.
    • The Intel: Finnegan does not have the item. He passed it to a contact named Knuckles.
    • The Destination: Knuckles is heading to Rafters Rest to a tavern called The Leaky Pipe.

  3. The Payout & The Spy
    • The party confronted Grandpa Shell (Pappy). He appeared visibly nervous about the situation.
    • Pappy paid the party 10,000 gp for their services so far.
    • Subterfuge: Arlo secretly left his pet crab behind in Pappy's domain to conduct undercover recon and determine why the Dripcaller is acting so suspiciously.

  4. Downtime
    • The group returned to The Drunken Gull.
    • Arlo paid off the group's bar tab.
    • Met NPC Captain Baha (Sheepfolk).
