The reptiles found along
The Dawn Coast, in the jungles of
Axthet, and elsewhere in the Morning Shores, are very different to those found in the Old Lands on the other side of the Mists.
The Morning Shores reptiles share many morphological similarities with Old Land reptiles, but they do not seem to share a common ancestor. Rhe most notable differences between Morning Shores reptiles and their Old Lands counterparts being an additional pair of eyes and a near universal adoption of feathers. Many species of aquatic reptiles appear to have mostly lost their feathers, reverting to scaly or leathery hides.
Notable Species
Species in this list are categorised based on their resemblance to Old Lands species.

Cryptidae
These reptiles belong to an unknown group. Almost nothing is known about them, and evidence that they exist at all is indirect and mostly drawn from inference. They are classified as reptiles purely by assumption, because the vast majority of the extant fauna are reptiles.
Cryptofera glossolali, Glossolisk
