Homebrew Rules

In order to best balance certain PC abilities, item, or spell effects for this adventure, these extra rules will apply.     Spell changes -    Good Berry: Good berry provides a cheap highly accessible source of near infinite food, this does not do well to support adventure which is reigned in by rations or carry weight. As such good berry is now a cantrip which, 1 uses up the material components. 2 only provides food for 1 creature. 3 is not a lasting source of sustenance, and can not be consumed as a creatures ration more than 3 times+con before a standard ration, meal, or otherwise sufficient source of nutrition is consumed which would fulfill the requirements for a long rest. After they exceed the number of consecutive times it may be used, it no longer provides a ration effect and the character will begin taking levels of exhaustion as if they were eating nothing at all.       Item effect changes -    Bag of holding:  A major aspect of this campaign is the transportation of monster parts as gold stand in as they provide a better gp/weight ratio to standard coinage. A bag of holding largely circumvents this concept and as such has been nerfed. Bags of holding now: A bag may now only except items that are no larger than the opening in the bag. The bags total carry weight is now only 500 pounds. Bags may only hold 10 individual items at a time, so long as the total weight does not exceed 500. A bag which has too much weight in will tear and must be replaced.
