Temple of the Guardian

A massive complex build into the top of a mountain overlooking the pass into the western wastelands. There's a large cavern leading into the lair of the Guardian.

Purpose / Function

Guarding the pass through the mountains.

Denizens

A small tribe of Raptor lizards call this ruin their home. They're led by the chieftain Gerr.

 

Inside the large cavern is the great devourer the Guardian.

Hazards & Traps

Giant Fly Trap - vines will try to grab and drag party members to the fly trap where it will try to consume them. Make a Dexterity Saving Throw DC15 to avoid getting caught. On failure the creature is Restrained. To break free make a Strength Check DC18 to snap the vine, do 15 hp damage with a Slashing weapon, or use Fire or Acid to burn through.   If a creature is dragged into the mouth of the Fly Trap it takes 6d6 Acid damage each turn.
