Shadowlands
In the northeast of Pol lies the Shadowlands, an area of perpetual magical darkness that seeps out of the portal to the Shadowfell. The blackness pierced by strange glimmers and streaks of purple light emanating from the stars.
Magical corruption is mild, people and wildlife show lesser mutations linked to the Shadowfell.
The cold is not as damaging as the other parts of the Pol regions and only minor frost plague anyone who sets foot outside of the warm fires of a house.
Environment
- Magical Darkness - creatures without the ability to see through magical darkness are Blinded.
- Magical Corruption (mild, Shadowfell) - creatures born in the region can be affected by corruption.
- Shadow Storms - snowstorms in the region are harsh and have a magical sapping effect.
