Pangu ōkoku

Pangu ōkoku is a vast and culturally rich empire located in the southern region of Olmerrec. It is a diarchy governed by the twin emperors, known as the Sun Emperor and the Moon Emperor, each ruling over distinct halves of the empire.


 
Regions
Realm of the Sun

The western side of Pangu ōkoku is characterized by its open fields, rice paddies and the few patches of forest. On the northern part is an imposing wall that blocks the pass leading to the wasteland and has a great castle manned by the elite guard of the Sun Emperor. The people here are known for their disciplined and structured society, reflecting the grandeur and sophistication of their feudal system. The Sun Emperor, who rules this part of the empire, embodies the strength and resilience of his people, overseeing a land that values honor, tradition, and martial prowess.


  Realm of the Moon

In contrast, the eastern side of the empire is dominated by a great conifer forest, home to numerous rural villages and monastic communities. The people of this region are highly devoted to the Moon Emperor and his priesthood willing to support them and even die for them if necessary. The Moon Emperor governs this part of the empire, representing the wisdom and subtlety of his people. The society here is marked by its agility, intelligence, and deep connection to nature and the mystical arts.


 

Important Cities and Locations

Marakuma ("City of Heaven")
    • Location: Olmerrec on it's south western coast.
    • Description: A large city of low wooden houses, large magnificent stone buildings, temples and at its heart the Garden of Heaven, the palatial compound of the Sun Emperor. On there sea side there are large traditional dockyards. The high stone walls around the city have large castles build into them to serve as protection for the gates.
    • Key Features: The Garden of Heaven (Imperial palatial compound), the Sun Temple district, The Cloud District, the great dockyards and the gate castles.
    • Cultural Significance: Political, economic, and administrative capital of the Sun Emperor.
Yurei no Mori ("Ghost Town")
    • Location: Olmerrec in the south east inside a large forest.
    • Description: A collection of small villages interlinked with dirt roads running through the forest like a maze.
    • Key Features: perpetual darkness in the forest, mystical animals and spirits roam freely through the villages.
    • Cultural Significance: Political, economic, and administrative capital of the Moon Emperor.
