Frontier Session 20 Report

Session 20: 23-03-2025

Inside the ship Jock and Suicu battle the remaining soldiers and the pilot while Glee and Hiron dash to help them out. The other soldiers around are standing guard over the prisoners outside the vehicle.

During the fight one of the pilots releases his clockwork companion to stun Jock but it malfunctions. He dashes for the controls to lift off but is taken out by Suicu and momentarily the control console fizzles with electricity as magic causes it shutdown. The last soldier runs for the exit and is killed by Glee while Hiron climbed on top of the cockpit and is attempting to break in.

With all the enemy soldiers killed or capture they fly their new war machine back to the rebel camp to discuss with the leaders the plan of attack. They will first use the smaller ornithopter to scout the town and Suicu notices that the town is being fortified and the Ironclad has left the Docks. The tank is now being guarded by one of the warsuits.

The zeppeling radios in to check on the flying machine and is answered by Hiron mimicking the voice of the pilot. They stop radio communication and the party becomes suspicious about the silence so Glee uses the radio to listen in on enemy frequencies. He learns that they're fortifying the town, the Ironclad has gone back for reinforcements and a fleet has left to invade the Kingdom of Therassia.

Jock and Suicu stealth into the camp with the tank and place the bomb underneath. Setting the timer for 30 seconds they dash away until a loud explosion and shouting tells them damage has been done. Looking back they see black smoke and a heavily damaged tank. The warsuit is now actively patrolling the area and they fly away, back to camp.
