The Tuskal
"Stupid mutts, the whole bunch of them. Just a pack of raving beasts, only capable of pillaging and fighting."Among the ancient ruins and twisted plant-covered realm known as the Scour fields resides a race of creatures that appear only as monstrosities, beast that send shivers down the spines with their name, filling children's nightmares, and looked upon as the most uncivilized and brutish race in all of the Room, a sign of the lowest state possible for the nations of Moorod, who refuse to become as lowly as these monsters they hunt. These are the tuskal, a race of barbaric and chaotic creatures that are the scourge of all of the Room, an infestation that has often been brought to the point of extinction, yet always survive, stubborn and resilient. Once again, the united clan of the tuskal have begun to raid Mig, pillaging and attacking wherever they can.-Jae Whitewall, tower guard
Basic Information
Anatomy
The tuskal appear humanoid in shape, but are generally taller and larger than most humans. They have broad shoulders and sloping bald foreheads, and small short noses, often compared to that of animals. The tuskal are so named because of two large tusks that jut downward from their upper lip, which is used for goring and tearing flesh and meat. They also have four arms, strong and muscular, and as a whole are tougher, meaner, stronger, and have more endurance than most humanoids, powerful brutes, but lacking in brains.
Genetics and Reproduction
The tuskal reproduce like most humanoids, with the males choosing and fighting over their chosen mates. The gestation period is slightly shorter than that of humans, and they have a higher chance of giving birth to twins.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The tuskal are scavengers and raiders, who attack Mig and others for resources and food. They often receive old or rotten meats and foods, and generally live on meats. Most tuskal are malnourished, and not often above cannibalism. Due to the fact that most tuskal raids on Mig end in more death and little reward, it is a wonder that the tuskal don't starve, though some suspect that there is something deep below the Scour Fields that supplies or nourishes the tuskal.

Social Structure
Gorjack strong! You ba dead, ya ya! Ba listen, Gorjack leader, kill and win! Hail Gorjack!Similar to packs of wild animals that used to roam the Room, the tuskal follow a hierarchy based purely on strength. They fight over virtually everything: meals, resources, mates, etc. and are commanded by the strongest tuskal, who rules their clan (currently the Blacktusk Clan), the only society the tuskal have.-Gorjack, claiming leadership over his clan
Facial characteristics
The face of a tuskal is described as ugly and malformed, with a big sloping forehead and a bald scalp (except for the females, who often have small strands of hair), and droopy eyes. Their noses are small and squat, often compared to that of a cat of a dog. From their upper lip juts out two huge tusks which point downward.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
The tuskal are found only in the Scour Fields, deep underground, but there are a few captured by the elven for display, and deep within the working mines of Mig are a group of tuskal slaves who work endlessly.
Average Intelligence
Known for their brutes, not brains, the tuskal are widely thought of as mindless beasts, essentially animals that are human in shape. This view, however, is not the most accurate representation of tuskal intelligence. They are by far the most beastly and primitive race in all of Moorod, yet nonetheless they display intelligence enough of crude speech and display emotions and thoughts similar to humans, albeit with a more animalistic instinct. When they fight or attack, the tuskal act like true beasts and monsters, but they have a somewhat intricate social system, and their have been many instances of intelligent or even clever tuskal, and these one are usually the leader.
The tuskal are smart enough to have basic ambush tactics, and know how to use weapons and make crude weapons. They also have been known to perform basic food gathering and
Civilization and Culture
History
The origin of the tuskal is not completely known, but it is full tragedy and horror. It has long been known of the elven alchemists and mages and their horrific experiments, where they took those of their own kin (or any other species) and performed awful experiments on them, to test whatever they so desired without consequence. These experiments often killed or grotesquely mutated the afflicted, turning them into monsters and pitiful creatures, which were dropped on the Scour Fields like trash. One of these experiments were the tuskals, and eventually they grew to become their own race, one that was chaotic and wild. The tuskal have spent most of their history raiding nearby Mig and any who land on the Scour Fields, becoming scourges of Moorod. The forces of Mig have more than once attempted to wipe them out, killing scores of them and occupying the top level of the Scour Fields. However, the tuskal always retreat deeper into lower layers of the Scour Fields, where horrible monsters and creatures lay, that lay waste to any who travelled deeper. And the tuskal would hide and wait, be it only a few months or over a century, but eventually they would return somehow, as Mig and Nephinal fought their wars.
Genetic Ancestor(s)
Average Physique
The tuskal are, as a whole, stronger, tougher, and meaner than the average human, and, although often starving and malnourished, they are able to endure much more than any human. Their four arms allow them to carry heavier loads with more stability and ease, and their bones are very hard to break, along with a life of hardship which has toned their muscles and senses, and in the fray of battle they respond with animalistic strength and wrath.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
They are covered in grayish skin, which reflects their health. A more tan complexion represents a healthier body, but most tuskal are gray or darker in color, and are usually covered in cuts and scar and malformations. They mark their bodies with paints they make, often made from blood or anything that can be crushed and blended.
