The Principality of Brandenheim
Brandenheim forms the de facto power-centre of the Südmark, and in fact traditionally considers the surrounding baronies as constituent parts of itself; the baronies were split off Brandenheim in the past in order to reward loyal Imperial subjects. The Prince of Brandenheim as of 3000 H.R. is Friedrich-Otto Fürst zu Brandenheim und Seemark.
Brandenheim is largely loyal to the Throne, though the Crown’s political interference in Brandenheim’s internal affairs rankles, and there are a number of feuds.
Brandenheim produces timber, fisheries, tin, copper, silver, stone, and a modest amount of specialty agricultural products.
