Delaq, the Sinking City
This city claims the title of the oldest continuously populated city in Moli Mare.
The history of Delaq is long, due to the cities ground soils the city sinks slowly a few inches. This has led to a never-ending construction boom as the old structures collapse and are buried below the shifting ground.
The city is currently occupied by both the Church of the Blessed and archeologists who constantly clash fighting for control of land for historical preservation or expansion of the church.
The city is the training ground for would-be Paladins of the Church, part of their training is building new structures and demolishing the old and crumbling.
At the City center lies the Great Old Church, a site that is considered one of the great holy sites built atop the exact spot where unspeakable ancient evil was defeated. The area is bathed in holy magic that bathes the area.
There are no official shops or places to stay, a good nights' rest depends on association with either the church or archeologists.

Merchant unloads their goods in a neighboring temple and paladins in training transport the goods here. Due to this dynamic, there are no shops or commerce in the area. Most church officials carry a small stipend for leisure, they tend to pay a premium for special food and drink.

A variety of building litter this ever-deepening valley. Most are built by hand cathedrals.

History
It is said a once-powerful kingdom governed the isle from their capital located here. One day a powerful wizard had his family slaughtered by the king's men and cast a spell petrifying all of the city at the cost of his own life. Archeologists that have ventured into the deepest excavations speak of a city frozen in time.
Tourism
Followers of the Church of the Blessed sometimes pilgrimage to the area seeking enlightenment or atonement. Due to the terrain only the physically capable complete their journey.
Architecture
Gothic architecture seems to be in style at the moment for the current Cardinal which is quite funny given that 100 feet away is a half-buried cathedral with a more modern aesthetic.

Temple is located in a valley between mountain ranges.
Natural Resources
Stone and Granite are exported to different temples from this location.
