Government
The town's government is controlled by rich merchants that are making the most of the local guildhall. To ensure that the goods continue to sell at large margins the government of Bigoli has become increasingly militarized. The city has four sheriffs that act as judges, often imposing a sentence of death for those guilty of poverty.
Defences
The town employs hundreds of guards to ensure that the inner more civilized citizens are protected from the ever-growing slums. Guards patrol the inner city and actively segregate those with gold and those without.
Industry & Trade
The city of Bigoli is trading wasteland. The city does not produce any food. The city also imports most of its basic goods selling them to the adventurers that are new to The Holder's Guildhall. Importers must venture through dense slums to reach the city center and offload goods, meaning that an objects value increases greatly when transported a few hundred feet.
Local merchants sell overpriced goods to novice adventurers. No actual respectable crafters create anything here, shop owners will pay some poor peasant to act like he is crafting new stock.

History
This city began as a secluded hideaway for adventurers recovering from their recent exploits. As the guildhall grew so to did the need for goods and services. And so the city of Bigoli came into existence. The poor and destitute, looking to risk life and limb to escape their present life congregate around the inner city. The poor built shacks that expand outwards into massive slums, rife with the conditions the would-be adventurers looked to escape from.
Architecture
The inner city has houses and shops built with mostly stone and mortar while the outer slums are a tinderbox of dry and decaying wood.
Geography
The city sits on small hill overlooking gentle rolling plains in every direction. There are no sources of water nearby.
Natural Resources
There is no wood or water that can be exploited. Mining operations are not taking place but no exploration has ever been performed.
