Akkala

Geography

Akkala is a region in the far northeast of Hyrule, with portions in Lanayru and Eldin. It's made up of the lowest land of Eldin where it meets the coast and the small portion of Lanayru "behind" the summit of Zora's Domain. The land here drops dramatically to sea level, and it is different both to the majority of land in Lanayru and Eldin.

Localized Phenomena

Akkala is home to a specific variety of deciduous species that have striking orange, yellow, and red leaves all year, as if perpetually autumnal.

Tourism

Many people travel to Akkala to observe the beautiful leaves, although this tourism declines around the time of year that leaves all around Hyrule actually begin to change.
