Session 37

The Party chose to continue their exploration of the crypt under the Dordington Stronghold. They headed in a southerly direction, coming next to another tomb vault. Kasras went first at Bloodbane's behest; the encounter with the black pudding had left him ill at ease. The room had a partially destroyed wall and two of the sarcophagi had been disturbed. Kasras approached one and checked it for anything interesting. Typhon entered the vault and assisted in the investigation, finding yet another key. As soon as the wizard drew the key, a pair of shadows came pouring forth from the sarcophagus.   The first shadow attacked Kasras, while the other attacked Typhon. Bloodbane and the others rushed into save the beleaguered young halfling and elf wizard. Unfortunately, the swarming shadows overwhelmed Kasras and he fell in battle. The overwhelming power of Bloodbane, Sir Didymus, Vigwalin, and Typhon reduced the shadows to ash and vapor. The fight was over, but they had lost Kasras in the process and they still had to track down the remaining werewolves...
