Dordington Stronghold
Dordington Stronghold is the name given to a ruined keep belonging to the Phasnosh Civilization. It is uncertain exactly when or how the keep was destroyed, but scholars believe that it likely occurred around the time of the empire's collapse in 1647 TAS.
Architecture
The keep follows many of the design traditions of Phasnosh fortifications, including buttressed walls and what were probably reinforced gates, based on the hinge attachments found in the area.
History
It is unknown when Dordington Stronghold was originally built, but it is believed that it occurred sometime within between 1100 TAS and 1600 TAS, based on the similarity of design with similar keeps of the age. Scholars have also concluded much of the stone used to the build the keep was mined from the Giant Hills, given the long standing mines in the area for similar stone.
