Highshore

Highshore is the largest city in Cesarica, and rivals only Kaladar in its cultural and academic livelihood. Though it is officially ruled by a Baron, the Scharpayne University of Arcane Arts, is the institution that has the most influence in the city.   Unlike Kaladar, the city is only partially walled, and the only distinct district in the city is the Arcane district that surrounds the university. While there is a docks area, the edges of that district are blurred with taverns, homes, and other stores. The rest of the city is an eclectic mix of craft houses, shops, homes, inns, temples, and other buildings.   Within Highshore, there are also several notable historical monuments. Included in these are the Sentinels, a series of massive statues that stand guard in Highshore Bay, hollow on the inside so that they can be manned by guards, and connected by massive chains that can be raised to block the bay from potential intruders. Also, the temples of Tulmo and Aeli. While each of these temples are not the largest nor the most extravagant of temples to these gods, they are notable structures within the city.
