Hyperion (Hi-Per-Ee-On)
Hyperion is the Elemental Prime of Fire, God of Light and Flame, and Lord of Summer. His presence is felt most strongly during the summer season where the sun is high in the sky radiating Hyperion's intense light and heat. Clerics of Hyperion believe in bringing light to the darkest corners of the world both literally and spiritually, they abhor dark creatures who skulk about in shadows and channel the power of Hyperion to illuminate and reveal these creatures before purging them from the material plane with fire. Hyperion's greatest gift to the material plane is the sun, Ismene, believed to be his daughter who rises and falls daily while Hyperion manages the seasonal changing of spring into summer.
