Dini (Dee-Nee)
Dini is the Goddess of the Seas, daughter of Oncaea and Zephr. Dini holds dominion over the seas of the world and the creatures within and she is worshipped by sailors and pirates alike, both of which pray to her to keep the seas calm and the winds blowing in the right direction. Dini is a fickle goddess who's mood can shift from calm to raging at a moments notice and the behaviour of the seas is believed to reflect her current emotional state. Followers of Dini seek to harness power over the weather and most of them use it aboard ships to ensure smooth sailing. There are times however, when Dini's mood swings towards vengeful and she sends sea creatures to attack ships, at such times a cleric of Dini is a helpful ally in quelling the goddess' temper or fighting off her monstrous servants.
