The Eyes of Harbinger

The Eyes of Harbinger was the predecessor organization to The Assembly. A secretive and shadowy group of highly skilled spies, manipulators, assassins, and information gatherers, the Eyes of Harbinger served their dark master as his personal intelligence gathering apparatus during the Wars of Consolidation. Carrying out whatever objective they were assigned by Harbinger, they would pursue it without delay, and achieve results that cultivated an aura of fear at the mention of their very name. Members almost never revealed their true identities to anyone, rarely even to each other. At the close of the Wars of Consolidation, the Eyes of Harbinger needed to evolve and change in order to adapt to the new position they found themselves in as a domestic police force of sorts. As such, it was decided to rename, restructure and reorganize The Eyes into The Assembly. It would take many years for the modern day structure to appear, and for the terminology of 'Inquisitor' and other such cultural adoptions to be put in place.
