Immortal General of the Empire Irtan Tys Shakan
Immortal General Shakan is the current, former, and forever reigning Immortal General of Harbinger. Known as one of the only living people in existence to have lived during the time of the War of Unification, Shakan is a legend in his own right, even among the upper echelons of Imperial society.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Essentially no one has seen Shakan's body. He is known to be in peak phyiscal condition regardless of what his body appears to be. He is fit, extremely strong, fast, and preternaturally gifted in many martial arts and dexterous forms of movement and combat.
Special abilities
Shakan, as an Immortal, cannot die. At least not permanently. Shakan is known as the most powerful Immortal in existence or who has ever lived or been created. What an Immortal is exactly is still not known and believed to be a closely guarded secret by Harbinger, Shakan and a select few.
Regardless, Shakan upon enduring catastrophic damage, will 'die'. After a moment though his wounds knit, reform, and he is brought back. This surpasses the loss of limbs, regrowing them. It surpasses decapitation, exsanguination, immolation, atomization. Nearly any form of death the Immortal can endure, he has.
Furthermore there is the idea that the more an Immortal dies without being given true death, the stronger they get and the easier it is to resurrect for them. Shakan has lived a very long time and has died many times. Additionally Shakan is believed to be somewhat of a 'Super-Immortal', unique in just how potent his resurrection procedures are, far more advanced than that of a standard Immortal, who for example cannot typically endure atomization at any point if it kills them and resurrect.

Personal history
Immortal-General Shakan is a being of pure service. He exists to serve the empire the Emperor, and nothing more. As a being he is utterly loyal to the Empire, the Emperor and nothing else. His personal history is vague and clouded at best, and in various interviews and in passing he has made some allusions, but nothing concrete. It is known he lived in The Other with Harbinger in 'The Before Times', and that they met early on in their lives.

Shakan's education is rather unknown, although he is one of the only public figures known to have emerged from The Other, and has noted he was trained by the most elite and quality of Otheran scholars and swoardsmen.

Shakan is noted as being an utterly unparalleled swordsman beyond the Emperor himself, noted as being supremely skilled in both singlehanded and one handed martial duels, having beaten numerous foes in such duels. Despite this, he is noted as being proficient and masterful in nearly all forms of martial combat in all forms, with all weapons.
Intellectual Characteristics
Shakan is rather intelligent when it comes to military tactics, strategy, and general command, yet he appears lacking in any amount of human sympathy, empathy, or rationale in those fields. He seems to be entirely emotionless for a vast majority of his conduct, rarely reacting with anything more than the exact answer and result he wants or desires. That being said he is not entirely devoid of life or any amount of feeling. He has been noted to have a dry, somewhat curious sense of humor and has even been known to make small jokes at times.
Morality & Philosophy
Shakan is known to have a morality and philosophy that closely resembles his lord and master, Harbinger. Seemingly similar in thought, Shakan sees the gods as blights upon the innocent people of the Material Plane, charlatans and liers who seek to use their followers as nothing more than sources of power. Interestingly though Shakan does believe that it might be possible to reform the gods.
This belief led to the creation of the Church sect known as the Rehabilitationists.
