Magic
Magic designates the ability to manipulate hylif. Every creature instinctively uses some magic all the time, but it takes great amounts of will and training to properly control it. The most powerful the spell, the more will is drained from the one who casts it.
Manifestation
Magic manifests when hylif is transformed by the effects of a spell. It is more easily manipulated through gestures and incantations, although only their rythms and aspects actually matter. It can also be used to infuse or extract hylif in objects and empower a spell. When magic is used, hylif may appear and visibly influence matter.
