Buhir
The buhir is a large serpentine monster that roams the dangerous swamps and caves of Merhendiv. A buhir starts its life in a state of larvae, in which it is called a bulette. Female buhirs are often accompanied by small groups of bulettes, as they nurse their children until they grow into buhirs themselves.
Basic Information
Anatomy
A bulette is usually quite small, with four legs they use to dig in the ground. It has a large strong mouth and stays underground until it feels food. As it grows, the number of legs increases and fangs appear in the mouth. Its total length can reach several times that of a human.
Growth Rate & Stages
The buhir starts its life as a bulette, and when it reaches a certain size and grows its fourth pair of legs, it becomes classified as a buhir.
Ecology and Habitats
The buhirs often nest in swamps or humid caves, but can be found in other places if a watering place is close enough.
