Lord of the Longarm
The proud and aging leader of House Alsko , Otto is a man who was raised in war and was entirely convinced that he was to die there. A quiet and stalwart man known for the integrity of his character and the strength of his will and body alike, it was on his shoulders that County Alsko was able to survive into being a county in the first place. As it becomes clear that peace is to last beyond his lifetime, he prepares for retirement and the next step of his house's legacy.

General Physical Condition
Though he is getting well past his prime at his middle age, Count Otto still makes a point to stay in very fit condition for both appearances and pragmatism - he is still in charge of the County and doesn't want anyone even getting the idea that he might be letting himself go.
Helping with this is his tall stature and brutish figure - colloquially known as a "brick shithouse" - he was known for wielding a Zweihander that practically looked like a longsword in his grip.
Identifying Characteristics
A large scar runs across his face from the time he was in a duel with the then-general of House Eifalgar - a wound he wears with pride. His hair is coming in black instead of grey as the after effect of a bout of Seer Sickness from his youth. The carpet matches the drapes.

Otto has ruled under the County of Alsko for 35 long years - long before it was a County and was only Clan Alsko. Known for his caution in tactics and focus on the homestead, Count Otto is a man well loved by his people and his men alike for exemplary bravery and level-headedness that kept the County safe until the end of the war.

History
Mieho met Otto while on a diplomacy mission between the El and the Lillavar, in which newly named Heir Apparent Otto spent 3 nights teaching Mieho the Brilil game of chess, from which Mieho was enraptured with both the game and him. After taking on a duel with allied House Chevrain to keep Mieho as a guest of his house, Mieho resolved to solve the issue permanently by getting married and planting their first child, Soren.
History
Soren is Otto's oldest son and was supposed to be Heir Apparent for the House of Alsko. Once Soren returned home battered by war, their relationship strained significantly as Otto's expectations brushed up against the current reality and for a while they weren't on speaking terms. With the shifting of succession in the wake of the Braiding of Thorns agreement, the two are now closer than ever.
The no-nonsense and absolute leader of House Alsko - he's a gruff, stoic man with a soft spot of a family and his wolves. Entering his golden years in a period of steady peace, he's quietly preparing to secure his legacy into the unknowable future. Sometimes called "Lord of the Longarm" for being so large in size he made his Zweihander look like a longsword in battle.
