Revolution

Sigmund Yaston, Count of Hindomas (or Hundomus as it was pronounced in the ancient accent), already formally acknowledged as the master of proceedings undertaken by the Federation of the South, and as a feudal ruler in his own right, openly declares his entitlement to reign over the other counts of the land.   In an elaborate ceremony, Yaston is crowned the first king of a new state to replace the semi-democratic federation, which he names Linia — a devout Geminist, Yaston takes this word from a myth regarding a lost third sibling to Hin and Iau, intending to evoke favoritism from both solar deities.
