Blood-Sigil Vault

The Wolfen Blood-Sigil Vault lies deep beneath the King’s castle in Zarkova, the capital of Dravis. Built in a massive honeycomb-like structure carved from enchanted stone, the vault holds engraved bloodstones collected from every Wolfen who has completed the Blood-Sigil Ritual — a rite performed before the age of seven that marks one’s identity and place in Wolfen society.

This vault is more than a storage place — it is a cultural treasure, a genealogical record, and a spiritual anchor for the Wolfen people. The Beekeeper’s Apostles appear to respect the sanctity of the vault, though their reasons are unclear.

Structure

Honeycomb Chambers – Each cell contains a single bloodstone engraved with runes and sealed in protective wards.

Central Archive – Holds the oldest bloodstones, some dating back centuries, including those of legendary Wolfen leaders.

Guardian Hall – A sanctum where druidic Wolfen perform rituals to honor ancestors and protect the vault from corruption.

Security

Access is limited to the King, the Chieftess, the Wolfen Council of Elders, and designated clerics.

Magical wards that repel intruders without Wolfen blood.

Defensive corridors designed to favor Wolfen combat styles, making siege nearly impossible.

Cultural Significance

The vault is a symbol of Wolfen unity — each stone a testament to individual and collective history.

Traveling clerics ensure that even Wolfen in remote settlements have their bloodstones brought to the vault.
