Olon Uuloin Oran
Overview
The region has seasonal crops that can largely sustain the small population, but does have to rely on imports during particularly harsh seasons. Only small amounts of crops are exported. The region's economy is based on its mines located in the canyons and mountainous regions. Mining is largely centrally controlled as the Khan owns all resources and the land. Some regions are leased to large companies for their own extraction, but with stipulations controlling what is done with the goods. The region is known to have a much more diverse culture than the other states. This has historically stemmed from The Fishing Famine when large amounts of non-Khünd Ajil fled into Olon Uuloin Oran. However, recent rulers have also taken a large interest in the culture of neighbouring nations. Boneana fashions have become very popular over the last few years.Etymology
The direct translation of Olon Uuloin Oran from Khündish would be "many mountainous areas", but would more traditionally mean "land of many mountains".Cities
