Warlock

Type: Infernal   The discipline employed by warlocks is known as demonology, witchcraft, and black magic. It is one of the most dangerous disciplines, as it involves the summoning and commanding of demons. Demons almost always have malevolent motives, so any mistake on the summoner’s part can be disastrous. But the power they offer is substantial enough for Warlocks to overlook the risks.   The most important part of demon summoning, after the conjuration itself, is binding. Binding rituals prevent the demon from attacking the summoner, and force it to do the summoner’s bidding.   Warlock Concepts

• Cursed: You aren’t so much a master of the Infernal as a victim of it. Maybe you heedlessly signed a demonic contract, or maybe your fate was cast on you unwillingly. Either way, studying the Infernal is the only way for you to regain control.
• Dealmaker: You made a bargain with a demon for personal success. Money, fame, political power; whatever it was you desired, you have it. It comes with a few additional powers, to sweeten the deal. Just don't try to skip your contract.
• Demonologist: You study demons academically, focusing on summoning and binding them. For you, the Infernal sphere is merely another science to be mastered, and the risks simply come with the territory.
• Witch: You are a practitioner of the old, dark magics; a student at the foot of a demonic teacher. You call upon lesser demons to put curses on your enemies.
• Zealot: You are the faithful acolyte of a demon lord, either out of blind devotion or simple self-interest. Your patron has granted you tremendous destructive power, though it’s often dangerous to you as well.
