Miig
Miig is actually a derivative contraction for Mi-Ig Weapons Systems, named for its founders Danto Min and Ren Stalsig. For those inhabiting the inner systems of Iolar space, Miig is something of a non-entity and certainly in the common man’s life he is considered unlucky to ever encounter the products of Miig’s forges. But the galaxy is an unforgiving place and Miig has secured its position among the foremost enclaves by providing the most powerful and efficient arms available to elements of the Sovereign Fleet and those tasked with patrolling the borders of Iolar space. Any and every conflict in this region involves their handiwork somehow and for those in the know, or in the line of fire, Miig is a byword for reliable and efficient death. For the truly upper-crust: Captains , lexicounts, and the like, status is often hammered out by the quality of weapons systems one maintains, be they personal cyberbeasts, the finest concealed weapons, or the most ostentatious of personal armaments. Sponsorship of Miig research in return for exclusivity contracts is commonplace and while there are limits placed on such agreements to prevent catastrophic delays in deployment, the vanity and frivolity of Iolar nobility funnels vast wealth into Miig’s coffers. Miig cross-pollinates frequently with Isk and Allart to provide personal defense integration and large-scale defensive systems respectively and while they are a specialist in dealing and resisting death, their corporate persona is quite affable. Currently Miig is run by twin heirs, Qova Fiso-Min and Heline Fiso-Stalsig.
