M'shaal South Brea

Welcome to M'shaal.

A world of many mysteries and complex yet obfuscated history. In the current period of M'shaal's history, a vast unified land is central to the stories and dangers of the planet. South Brea is that land. South Brea is where the majority of adventures and stories will take place. The largest and most diverse landscapes and peoples reside in this region. Besides the complex political structure, there is an underbelly of guilds, secret societies, religious sects, and criminal networks all vying for power through any means possible or necessary. Outside of the sentient species and civilization the land and sea teeming with life. Traveling over the ground, even on a well-established road, can be dangerous. Monsters, wild tribes, and ancient terrors are concealed within every wood, lake, and canyon. The sea is even more dangerous. The leviathans, elementals, and pirates are the least of seafarers' worries. The Age of the Geomancers has turned the oceans into an impossible-to-predict quagmire of shifting landbergs, typhoons, and whirlpools that span continent-sized swaths of the surface and depths. The world is suited for adventuring and for prose. The history, intrigue, and danger are something I hope to share and build upon while I continue to explore in my imagination and with friends.
