Emperor of the Rosaven Dominion Theocessus Whitarian (a.k.a. "the Shadow Crown")
Theocessus Whitarian II, also popularly known by his royal cognomen of the Shadow Crown, was the 17th Emperor of Rosaven, ruling from 1317-1364. He is a controversial figure in Rosavens history as his rule was incredibly successful, but marred with conspiracy and deception. His cognomen has a double meaning, reflecting the physical "Shadow Crown" that he wore, as well as indicating his nature as a cunning and secretive ruler.
While it is correct that Theocessus died at the age of 87 in 1364, he did not remain dead. Thanks to a Clone spell cast on him multiple times by his ally Sylgolor the Deathless, Theocessus lives to this day. Through the conspiracy Manus Verum Rex, the will of the Shadow Crown is still enacted in modern society.
