Mongrels MC
Dogs of War
History:
Men of Mayhem:
Founded in 1973, right after the end of the Vietnam War, by veterans shunned by society, The Mongrels MC was a place for the ostracized to find a place together building a family of brothers and sisters. The common Biker culture was the perfect fit for the veterans, it's bonds of brotherhood were essential for the formation of the club, with Eli Washington, the Club's first President declaring the Mongrel's officially present in New Bourbon. At first it was only a way for veterans of the Vietnam War to gather together and live amongst people who knew what they had been through and did not judge them for having done so, but the good days were not to last. During the late 80s, the Drug trade skyrocketed with the influx of Cocaine from Colombia, with the then VP Luke Stephens sought to exploit, over Eli's dead body. After murdering the President, Luke voted himself in for President and directed the MC towards a path of no return. After cutting a deal with the Medellin Cartel, to run drugs on New Bourbon for them, in exchange for military hardware, the cash just poured in. But during the 90s the club had decided it had enough of Luke's crazy shit, so they decided to get rid of him, permanently.
After killing their President, and making it look like the Cartels did it, Michael Washington and Donovan Hackett , the new President and VP respectively, steered the club into self-reliance, making sure that, if they dealt, it would not be on someone else's orders. After surviving the Cartel's onslaught, and killing any of its supporters, the Mongrels set up shop in coking meth and gun running for the other players in town.
Since then they have established themselves as one of the biggest underworld players in New Bourbon, competing against the other crime syndicates in the neon city. Recently they have been moving in the Bayou region, which put them in a collision course with the Union Congregation. But the size of this formidable cult has not disheartened the Mongrels in any way, with them carving a bloody path in the city, clawing for new territory against enemy MCs, one of which is the recent Los Aztecas charter of New Bourbon.

Culture
Aside from the normal culture found in Outlaw Motorcycle Clubs, the MONGs are also privy to a personal culture, exclusive to the club. The most famous of these examples is that all members must have been members of the American Armed Forces, doesn't matter which branch (Tho the Marines and Airborne have a certain privilege in acceptance). This hearkens back to the origin of the MC, being composed of Vietnam war veterans looking for a new family after their country left them for dead.
Public Agenda
The Mongrel's Mandate, is the set of rules of the club, and it dictates the following:
- That all members are members for life, with the only way out being expulsion or death. And for their time in the club, each member must abide by it's rules and further the club's goals, which are determined and voted by the President and the council.
- The members of the club are also obligated to help out any members that may require assistance in any shape or form. These can range from helping move a shipment, provide muscle for operations, protect family members of club personnel, and come to the aid of members in combat.
- The word of the Council is Law! Any decision voted in by the Council is to be followed to the letter, with the member of the club being obligated to set personal feelings on the matter aside.
- Any prospect that kills in the name of the Chapter is automatically eligible to being patched in
- Stealing from the club is punishable by immediate expulsion
- Killing a member of the club, whatever his rank, is punishable by death. If escaped, the wrongdoer will be hunted down by the MC in all it's territories
