Serosh
Gotrick Ironbelly' spectral mount in the shape of a beautiful, white lion. Although very beautiful and majestic, the scars from countless battles etched across his body can't be ignored. Clad in ornate Dwarven-designed battle armor, Serosh exudes an aura of strength and nobility. His armor, complete with intricate engravings, features a saddle securely fitted to his back. As Gotrick's spirit summon, Serosh shares a profound and unique bond with his summoner. Bound by their connection, they can communicate seamlessly, their thoughts and intentions flowing effortlessly between them.
Serosh was once captured along with his kin by the brutal Orc called Brok’tor. The lions were subjected to cruel treatment, forced to endure the Orcs’ savage entertainments until their deaths. Serosh, the last survivor of his pride, lay battered and broken in the orc camp when fate intervened. The Orc camp was being attacked.
The day of the attack on the camp was marked by chaos. Brok’tor stormed out of his tent and sounds of swords clashing were heard outside until silence fell. A Dwarf entered the tent, his eyes falling upon the wounded Serosh surrounded by the lifeless bodies of his kin. Serosh noticed the grief in the eyes of the Dwarf and instantly understood that he too endured it. Though they could not speak, an unspoken connection formed in that moment—a shared understanding born of loss. The Dwarf, Gotrick, could not let the lion's suffering end in death. Knowing the only way to save Serosh was through a spiritual bond, he prayed to his deity for guidance. A flash of brilliant white light illuminated the tent as Serosh’s form transformed into a spectral being. His wounds healed, leaving behind scars as a testament to his endurance. And for the first time, they spoke to each other. After Gotrick introduced himself he asked about the lion's name. “My name is Serosh, and I thank you for saving me. I would be honored to aid you in your quest for vengeance upon those who prey on the weak.” And so, their bond was formed. From that day forward, Serosh became Gotrick’s steadfast companion, their bond forged in sorrow and renewed in purpose. Together, they embarked on countless adventures, united in their shared quest.
