Mae

Deep in the the Skaven caves, the party stumbled upon three prisoners who still seemed to have some fighting spirit left in them. Amongst these three was a female high elf who refused to tell them her name. Because she held a rather bitchy attitude towards the party, they decided to name her 'Bitch' for the time being. Only after she and the party had fought a few battles together, she decided she trusted them enough to tell them her name. Where she is from, names hold power.   Mae was very vague about how she ended up with the Skavens. What she did tell everyone who was willing to listen, however, is that she is looking for her sister Faerah. Her sister was supposedly taken into a cave by a dark wizard. The wizard was always surrounded by thick clouds of black smoke. She knows neither his physical appearance nor his race. She thinks she would recognize his voice if she were to hear it somewhere. It still sends shivers up her spine.   When the party escaped from the cave, she was able to retrieve her armor. Mae's armor is very special, as it allows her to control her lightning powers.   Now that she has escaped from the Skavens and has retrieved her armor, Mae is determined to find her sister. However, she feels as though she has already searched every possible cave. It has already been a year since she has last seen her sister, and chances are the wizard has taken her sister elsewhere.   Many adventures later, Mae finally finds her sister somewhere she had never expected her to be. At the Wild Party in Illumé, Mae receives intel that her sister is engaged to Illian Quoronriel, the most corrupted nobleman of the city. Frantically, Mae sprints through the villa and pulls open every door until she finds her sister Faerah in a room with Illian. She immediately attacks him. They fight for a while until Fae shouts at Maeglinn that she doesn't know her. She denies ever having seen her, let alone being her sister.   At last, the Order of Adamant barges in and Gotrick casts zone of truth. Faerah remembers nothing of her life before coming to Illumé, but says she came to the city of her own accord. This, and Illian's smug demeanor enrages Mae so much that she attacks him again, now using her lightning powers. Gotrick and Leo, her two most entrusted companions, grapple her and drag her out of the house. Gotrick orders Serosh to sit on top of her until she stops struggling. When Mae calms down enough, the Order returns to the mansion.
