Staircase Mountain

'There it is. Staircase mountain.' These were the very words of General Alexandru Teodor Lupescu, as he and some others such as one of his greatest companions as they prepared to brave the great mount. As it states in it's name, Staircase Mountain is much like a large, rocky, hilly, staircasy and large (did I already say that?) mountain that sprouted out of the earth. It is the most famous mountain - the second being the Upandoun Mountain range - and the oldest in the world of Loyar. It has been the most climbed mountain and is home to a variety of animals such as perds, rock octoquids, and most off all chickafants. The reason why horned chickens make there home here is because there are a large amount of thermal vents at the base of the mountain, creating occasional rises in the air currents, which they use to lift themselves up into the air and scout the land for prey. Additionally, Staircase mountain borders five states and not much else.
