Order and chaos locked each other into an impossibility for creation.When time was created, small wiggles eventually let the universe expand. Matter, magic, and spirit could form eventually. It is a matter of debate if the gods created this possibility or if they're a consequence of it.

The gods create the planet Ailion. The Sunfire lights up energy for the planet to orbit so that it gains heat and light at verying amounts. The Nightwarden makes a counterpoint. The other gods set about creating the other parts of the world, including plants and animals.

The theories about which deity created which advanced species and peoples that form the cultures of AIlion are hotly debated.

At some point, magic became too strong, as the gods were creating too much all at once. The result was a "reality quake" of sorts that made the material plane shed two smaller side realms. One took on the excess aspects of death, decay, and fear — becoming the bleak Ream of Shadow. The other was filled with the impressions and emotions that were too vivid and became the Realm of Delirium.

The first known poerals to the Abyss opens up. At first, this is a surprise to both sides and it takes a logn time before the pure hatred the Abyss breeds to shine through.

The Dawn War began when Abyssals slew one of the gods (though it's unknown who). The gods retaliated but it was already too late to srop demonic influence on the world. The war only ended when the gods that now form the Eidolons sacrificed their lives and the other gods were forced into partial exile.

Abyssals made their largest powergrab since the Dawn War, attempting to block the light from Sunfire. Only a concerted effort across the planet managed to stop them. The Sunrise as light was restored that winter is used by most cultures to mark year 0, with everything after being a year in the SunRise (SR) and previous years being Before SunRise (BSR).
