Sjeaalle

~ 773K Sjeaalle is a polytheistic folkreligion found in the south of Ciostro. Back in the day it was a widespread religion on the continent, but today it is mostly concentrated to Møjiimaa. There are seven major dieties:

Uvii, Goddess of Water and the Sea

Vinemm, Godess of Knowledge and Disease

Oju, God of Snow

Nänou, God of Madness

Nkkøsii, Goddess of Earth

Tjøbbå, God of Strife

Sjuu, Goddess of Youth

Depending on the location, different dietes were worshipped. A sect around Nänou was extremely infamous during the 5th century. However, today Uvii is the most frequently worshipped diety, as Møjiimaa is the religion's last stronghold. The afterlife according to Sjeaalle us unattainable while alive and has different levels depending on your piousness. Both men and women can become clergy. They function as connection to deceased spirits and as spiritual advisors. They are chosen based on their heritage, as clergy is thought to be decendents of the gods. It has a strong oral tradition, but in later centuries, much was written down. Coming of age: 11 (males), 12 (females) Marriage is always a question of love and involves ritual tattoos.
