Pese (pe-ze)
Pese is the capital city of Suganuran
Etymology
When Nuran Bati took over after The Great Revolution they named their new capital Onapese Nudomba, or "Center of Whispers". The name did not catch on, probably because it was so long, and after twenty or so years the Kibenan Mune decided to change the name. After much debate they settled on Pese, or "Center", which isn't as mysterious, but it is certainly easier to say. The name caught on pretty quick after that. But still to this day the name Onapese Nudomba is used in official reports and statements.Points of interest
The capital is home to the largest building in all of Suganuran: the Gambal. It is the castle that houses the twenty Mune as well as the city's guard. Additionally, there are over two hundred servants and one hundred slaves housed in the castle's left-wing. It is also home to the largest collection of Sonuri writings in the entire world.
Geography
The Samso river runs right through the outskirts of the city, through the Besan District.
