A series of Isles formed due to large volcanic activity far beneath the ice bergs and sheets of ice that form the Galacian North.
Geography
The Five isles that make up Oswary are seperated by several miles of frozen ocean that shifts from open water to icey land scape with the changing seasons.
Ecosystem Cycles
During the winter months the water connecting the islands of Warrington and Cold Harbor freeze to form a solid sheet which grows to be nearly 30 feet thick at its thickest points, allowing for ground travel across the ice. This creates the best time to transport goods that would otherwise become damaged due to the salt and water of being in the bowels of a ship.
Localized Phenomena
The weather is known to change from cloudy skies to vicious blizzards in the blink of an eye. Causing many a traveler to become lost or stranded in the hills of the Isles or wandering into a monsteous cave.
Fauna & Flora
The harsh and frozen enviornment of Oswary is home to many diverse creatures and plants.
Small animals like rabbits and foxes thrive here, one surviving off the plentful fruit bearing bushes that freeze during the long winter and propegate during the short spring. Larger animals like Elk, Deer, and Bears, thrive off the plentyful conifer trees that add a hint of color to the otherwise white landscape as they bear small yet nutrious fruits known to the locals as Amaunator berries, as they have a bright orange hue and little points like that of a star on them.
Beneath the waves and inside the chunks of ice that float around the isles are many sea monsters, dragons, and other solitary beings that would rather be alone in the their existance.

Natural Resources
The Obsidian mine mines a pure black ice that while frozen is harder than any steel or stone known to man. Perfect for defending cities and ships from the harsh weather as the cold only strengthens it. The Frozen Keeps stone walls are covered in a thick layer of this ice and many of the warships use it as an extra layer of armor to prevent the bergs from smashing through their wooden hull.
With some strange magical property this ice only bonds with other forms of black ice, and once melted it is impossible to return to its blackend state.

History
Once each Island was owned by a Storm Giant, each one heralded it as their own land and would run disputes with one another any chance they could. It took the sly hand of a family of humans to disrupt the largest of the Giants on the largest Island using deciet and tricker causing the Giant to leave the island to engage with the other four. He massacred the other Giants, claiming the whole of the Frozen North as his kingdom, but in his weakend state he was no match for the Humans surprise attack while he rested and was slain. The family then took on the crown of the Frozen King and built the first settlement in the North, declaring themselves a new society based on strenght the smartest rather than the fittest.
Tourism
There is little in the form of "tourism" in Oswary, although the College of Warrington is renowned for its technological advancments and the creation of Sky Ships, Warforged, and the opening of a new career path in the world known as Artificiery.
Conflict in the North
Currently at war with its self, for unknown reasons the Frozen King has amassed an army of the undead and begun marching upon his kingdom seeking to destroy and consume all life on the isles before turning his gaze south the Wumanok and Ronchemtal Empire.
